Don sent me a bin from a 06/07 GSXR-600 and I looked at it and could find no maps. From the end of the code around 0x2A00 to 0x3FFFF there were just filler 0xFF.
In the code I also found a lot of address refrences to data in the 0x40000-0x5FFFF range. That would bring the flash size upto 384K. In checking the spec sheets the 7054F is a 384k variant of the 7052F so I'm assuming thats what it is.
Other than that the code looked very familiar. Something to keep in mind for those of you who are looking at the newer Busa and GSXRs etc.
Here is a picture of the 2006 GSXR 600 ECU we stripped. It does indeed use the 7054F processor. This box has been chipped so that is not the stock crystal. If anyone can tell me what blew out on the back of the board, I've been curious.
The bad news is I no longer publicly publish ECU definitions.
The good news is that, if things go as planned, in the first half of next year you will be able to buy some software that will allow you to to tune your stock ECU.
