There are two ECUs for the K5/K6

32920-41g10 all K5, early K6
32920-41G60 K6

Actually if you order a replacement for your K5 they will send you the -41G60

Is the bike US or Euro?

Also the bikes differ from the cars in that you can only write the flash from the wire harness, not read it. To read it you have to cut it open and use special equipment to upload it. So we generally publicly post one example from an ECU file and then everyone modifies that file and downloads it into their individual ECUs.

thank guys for the response. This bike has the following ecu - 32920-41g60. Another problem that they have already experienced with this particular bike, he came of the bike at one of the circuits during qualifying and damaged the key reader and the bike refused to start. end of race weekend. we are going to reprogramme a new key before we start with the tuning

'old' ECU
-41G00 EU
-41G10 US

'new' ECU
-41G50 EU
-41G60 US

Are you sure it is a -41G60 and not a -41G50?  The 60 is the US market ECU and does not use a programmable key immobilizer.

We use RomRaider for editing, but for flashing we use a program from the CPU manufacturer called Flash Developers Toolkit or FDT for short.  For info on the hardware interface check out this thread.

Your not the first. Actually of our 354 Registered Members 5 are from South Africa and 1 is from Zimbabwe.

BTW If you this discussion is going to get all technical you should probably start a new thread in the GSXR-1000 forum
