RE: A thread for ECU2.0 Questions

I have got myself into some trouble over here, I have got the com port set and engine data screen to work, so I thought I would try to flash out the limiters (without watching the vids supplied by smithabusa) and now the bike doesnt start, ( it comes up with the FI light flashing and on the engine data screen in the fault section it says ignition lock) So I watched the vids and realized I needed the Flash development toolkit (whoops) so what would my next move be? Any help would be great.after you stop laughing that is! LOL

For gen2 you dont need FDT and its impossible to do any damage to gen1 without FDT. Just change your ignitionlock from advanced setting to your model and youre there.

Please could someone generate a FAQ, I can not find time for giving the same answer over emails and various boards. Sorry for raising this point up in this message, but rather would like to use ecuhack board for fixing the bugs and developing new features and let user support be done on other boards or by those who make business out of this.

Well I write a faq to start with...

1- how can we hardwire up a wideband to the display the proper afr on the engine data screen? is this something possible yet?

i know you mentioned that the coolant temp and other sensors will affect the afr readout.

2- for dyno purposes - we have a gen2 busa with aftermarket exhaust not using the narrowband. the sensor is disabled with the plug supplied by brocks. by disabling the sensor in the ecueditor and leaving the plug in would that cause any issues? When we dyno we are also placing the bike in iat dynomode and turning off pair.

so when completing the tune, and we re-enable the iat to normal is this going to change the afr we set on the dyno? or should we just leave the iat off?
