How do i get into the software to change dsm settings? I've checked through all the settings, running ecueditor v 2.5.x and can't seem to find it. Nitrous switch works, but the on/off switch is always on.
Anyone else have problems with not getting 100% nitrous?
If I set the nitrous to 50% it will give me roughly half of the total shot as it should same thing with 75% but when I put it to 100% it is way rich and makes less power than at 75% and even if I get the a/f in the ball park it still makes less power and wants less fuel than when set to 100%.
If anybody has any ideas please post them up as I have the customer coming to pick up the bike tomorrow from Virginia previously I thought it was spinning the tire on the drum but since have added a bar to attach straps and sucessfully made over 400 with a turbo 1000 so surely this measly little 280 isn't spinning.
Had some request for a method to de-activate the window switch and > 95% TPS requirements for the nitrous controls.
Basically a simple radio button or on / off checkbox would do it.
Same would go for the dragtools. Individual on/off options for the Slew rate controller andtwo step.
It's times like these that I should have looked back into programming a bit more as this should be a very simple change. I haven't programmed or made a gui in over 10 years. N ever did a while lot back then, and I am guessing things are at least a little different now...

We have never killed the nitrous while shifting ( and I am talking shots over 100 hp, not little baby nitrous) . I doubt the nitrous system is responsive enough to actually have the nitrous flow interrupted at the same time as the fuel anyway.
Went through the entire thread to make sure I have it right, Bottle on - check, toggle switch on - check, ignition on - check, flash correct settings - check, turn throttle - Yee..ucken ha we have NOS!
Using Schnitz racing CNC manifold suit Busa on B- King fits like a glove.
Tomorrow tank on and check no fouling of pipes solenoid etc!

Is anyone successfully using the nitrous module for anything with big power? I had an inquiry about using it for a Realstreet bike for the MIRock series and wanted to get a bit of feedback.

You'll have to try the shifter first, but it wouldn't hurt to increase the kill time a little, especially in the higher gears.
Are you using Map switching or the fuel addition in the controller to add fuel? I wodul probably add a little more at the onset of the nitrous if it were mine.
Is this a stock motor? That's a pretty healthy shot for a stock motor if it is. Probably too much for reliable pump gas use as well. Also, be careful riding it at first with the short wheelbase and high ride height, it may want to flip over like RIGHT NOW.
On my bike, I have a pressure sensor plumbed into the air line between the shift solenoid and the shift cylinder. When the horn button is pressed, the solenoid is energized, but the engine doesn't kill until the pressure is at 80psi in the line. the pressure switch is connected to the DMS.
Thanks Greg for all your help Saturday, Justin confirmed a b-king flashed to a busa will no longer indicate A or B driver mode. Your harness for nos settings works awesome! Nos/ fuel enrichment/ timing.....all smiles. Thanks Petrik for the Audi/ bosh fuel pump conversion! Fuel is not a problem. Really some amazing tools you guys have developed.

I run 98 octane as a given but are you suggesting I use higher?
Yes I figured it might be a tad lean at initial shot given 100 hp in 500 rpm!
The shifter I am using is only kill switch Boostbysmith style and yes at this stage all I have used is the default settings for Nos & Shifter so expect to have to play around a bit.
What would you suggest is a "safe" limit for stock engine?
Definitely looking at Swingarm extensions!
Any suggestions on Fuel pump adequacy, it has been suggested stock pump may not deliver enough fuel?

Are you saying you are spraying a 100shot of nitrous on a completely stock motor with 98 octane (assuming RON, probably 92 R+M/2 octane) pump fuel?
The fuel pump will likley not support enough fuel reliably for that. The bosch in-tank replacement wodul be a good option. Additionally, you may have issues with mechanical areas of the engine.
I would at the very least put stronger valve springs in the engine. They are known to "spit" valve shims when spraying nitrous, although I have never heard of a reasonably hypothesis as to why this occurs.
Spraying a 100shot on a stock wheelbase , stock height application will almost certainly lead to the front end getting very light.
Yes John our 98 would be like your 93 Hagar i had issues with supply at a 40 shot on a mates bike, admittadly the pump was old, we put in the bosch .
Greg any chance you can point me in the right direction with model numbers etc for the Bosch pump.
John to be honest I was only aiming for 50hp not sure how I got that much as the jets weren't that big from memory?? So the internals issue I wasn't too concerned with.
Aren't B-Kings already fitted with Titanium Valves? & Springs or springs are steel?
I do have 100 Avgas available so might blens a bit to improve things.
Ti valves are the problem they don't deal with the extra heat well, and the springs are too weak
100 would be better, tune your ms on that for track use and leave the other map for normal non nos use on the street should work well enough with the 100 to idle and part throttle untill you hit the nos activation when racing
