All stuff about 600 K6 K7 Denso ECU

Well a lot of topics but still no answers for few questions... A friend of mine already started searching about chipset and connector and he would defenitelly do it - i mean connectors and access to it

I bought used ECU from 600 K6 Suzuki. I started reading and everything but i still dont know few things:

1. What about things that you can do with it? Can anybody let me know the list of changes that can be prepared?

2. Can somebody give me a full description of things taht has to be done to get full access to this?

3. Waht about maps? Are those from PCIII website would be ok?

4. I know that writing it by myself is not easy at all, i would like something that i could start with...

Please help:)

Well ecueditor doesn't work with sh7254 based cpus. Ridgeracer is working on a commercial tuning solution. When I last spoke with him, he is going to release his tuning solution for kawai's first. I do have a rom dump from k7 600 ecu that you guys can have. You will have to figured out where the maps are in which memory locations. I believe someone else was working on it but never finish.

to be honest your help would be really usefull:)

Well if you can write a definitions xml file for romradier then you can use it to tune. Look in the gsxr1000 subforum to see how the k5/k6 gsxr1000 ecu is tuned. They share the same cpu.

Thx a lot:) I read all the stuff there i guess i would handle it;)

Would you mind letting me know exact procedure of putting all the stuff together?

I mean something like:

1. making connector (same as 05/06 K1)
2. download romrider or ecueditor or FDT
3. ...

and so on, i would just want to know if everything is ready to start the project:)

As soon as i would get ECU in my hands i will let you know its number that we could state if that is EU or US one, if EU how can we state in where are which kind of files?

Are you referring to the 05/06 GSXR 1000?

The pinouts are not exactly the same on the 1000 vs 600 ecu. There are a few different pin locations. I would download the service manual for the k6-k7 600,

Understood, by checking pinout in 1K have to find adequate pins in mine ECU!:) It should be here in 2 days, we start with it on saturday i guess.

Well i looked thru ECM terminal pictures of K1 and 750/600 - its almost the same, all blanks and connector ones for plug are ok so it might work, if not we will try different combinations of these ones that are blank and there are not many.

About the ROM:

This ECU we would have it's K7 750, jay, if pinout whold not work i guess we should open it up and to catch it with this method am I right?

How you gained k7 600 ROM? opened it up or with connector?

If possible we would take k7 600 ROM as we would like to flash it later into this ECU and try it out on k6 600 that I own.

We will also try to decode it and see if we can decode it:)

Let me know if I am missing something

All the AUD port pinouts are the same. Just make sure you identify pin 1 correctly.

Ok! Will do:)

Ridge one question:)

As i already have 2 bin files received, i would like to start "decoding" it. Please (if possible) let me know how to start and how it should be done to write definisions, if you have some article or "manual" that would be great, i cant find any info about it so far...

First you need to find yourself a copy of IDApro (Interactive Dis Assembler)

Also somewhere on this site is a program I wrote (bin2xml.exe) that scans Denso bins and automatically lists out all the maps into an xml. It doesn't tell you anything like which are fuel or ignition or which axis are rpm or tps or anything like that but it lists them all out

On the SV thread the person set STVP to full open to verify that he had the right table. You could do it with the EXCVA also. A key point- you may need to have the bike in a gear and the clutch out.

Hey Dudes!

I have also been searching around for a bin for the 750/600 K6/K7 EU models.

For the moment i have a K7 750 EU model (i think) in the garage, ECU 32920-02H00.

With a little help i am almost sure i can get the bin out via the AUD port if no one done this yet.

Asked PetriK on his profile if he is intrested in implementing theese for the EcuEditor.

No answer yet..

But i am sure up for dumping the ECU, if someone with the knowledge wants to help

with definitions/EcuEditor.

Carry can you please check if you go a bin for the 32920-02H00 ECU?

Hiya - can I also get the definitions and bin file for k6 750 for romraider sent to me via PM? I've got a 32920-02h20 ecu.
Also (total noob here) but is there a way to obtain the original files for this ecu? And what if I lose the immobilizer codes?

Bocce: You can read out the Ecu through the AUD port on the PCB, there is info on the forum more exactly how.
The immo code is stored in a separate memory on the Ecu pcb so you never change the code via .bin file. You can only activate/deactivate
immo function in the .bin files.

I have the 32920-02H00 .bin from a K7 750 EU, i will try to post it in the forums soon.
The .xml is up to Carry if he wants to post it up here since he is the one made it...

Stupid question, but would it be possible to load the bin file from the 32920-02H00 onto a 32920-01H00 ? 750 to 600....

 The short answer is Yes.

The 600 and 750 are essentially identical bikes with different displacements. The ECUs are physically and electrically identical.

On the down side there are 200+ maps and will probably take a lot more than just reducing the fuel maps by 20% to get it to run as smooth as a stock 600.

I need for my project GSXR 750 K7 and bin file. Xml file Us version.
I used the ECU 600 to 750 Bike.
It's a stock bike, only
buying at auction without ECU.
 Thank you Busa 578

I think Carry was looking for the EU 600 and US 750 to update his .xml definition.
If you can give him yours i bet he will share the definition with you.

I tried reading this model ECU (02H00) out this summer and succeded, with lots of help from Ridge
and info from the forum. No problem to run the ECU after if you seal it back up. (and dont break it) :)

Hello folks,
Seems like asking about bin files for 600-750 K6/K7 is like asking for gold....

I have a 01H10 600 k6 US bin file, but to flash my ecu
i need the EU version so we are talking about a 01H00.
So far i developed the XML needed for basic tuning, so basicaly
it include: ignition, alpha-n, iap.
Very crude Xml, no rev limiters etc, just what is needed for a basic tune.

anyone interested in exchanging the US for the EU ?
Also i would realy love to get a 02H00 EU 750 k6 bin file.

Anyone interested please contact me in PM on the forums, i am
not gonna give my email publicaly.

Manzo.
