I'm exploring using a 2011+ ZX-10 engine in a formula car application. One of the biggest hurdles I have is that the rules prevent traction control.
Is there a way to disable traction control at an ECU level?
Also, does the ECU have CAN output?
Std ECU has CAN output but some data is blank
Race kit ECU has fairly well populated output of CAN data. Race ECU can have all three traction/power modes set to off.
Traction can be turned off but you will need the dashboard to do as the switches are wired to the dash and the dash CANs the setting to the ECU.
Simply not fitting wheels speed sensors will also defeat the Traction Control....
