A big thankyou to all who've helped to create EE

Your efforts with ECUEditor have have allowed me to develop my car enough to help me to win the 'Eurosaloons' championship overall in 2012.

Thanks guys. biggrin

As always it's the sum of the details that all add up to get the results.

Small things like using your log box made me realise that the air in the airbox was seemingly stalling and causing the intake temps to rise over time. Venting the back of the airbox a little allowed a through-flow of air that brought the temps down and thus allowed better laptimes. I'd never have known that without data from the log-box.

I may need a little further help with the serial data output some time in the future, to allow connecting a suitable dash display directly, if that is possible to do....

Cheers Justin.

I think some of the AIM dashes/steering wheels talk directly to the ecu over serial connection, i have developed a slave version of the firmware for the logbox to allow both of them to work together, basically the log box does not request enginedata it just grabs the data being requested by the steering wheel.

I have seen that some AIM dashes work directly with gixxer1000 but when I asked their UK dealer he said it wouldn't work with Busa.

Having said that, I've since been told he has very little knowledge of the products he's selling and to deal with the Germans or Italians for AIM stuff in future....

I was talking to a guy from the Australian distributor of AIM the other day and they actually developed the driver for working with suzuki ecu's and the AIM products and then shared it with the other distributors. it should definately work with the Hayabusa as it just uses the SDS protocol which is pretty standard, particularily across the newer models.

I just now got around to looking at this. Very cool. Looks like alot of fun.

I'd like to drive something like that.

Of course, after driving it, I'd have to go back into the garage and turbocharge it and figure out how to break it instead of just leaving it alone
