hacking ecu to run fuel only

hello from Elkhart In, im wokng on a oil cooled gsxr 1100 turbo project and wanted to know if i can use a fuel injected gsxr ecu to run just the fuel on my poject. I will be running busa pistons with 1127 rods and crank, dyna 2000 ignition. So i know I can do this with a microsquit but wanted to see if anybody know how to power up to run fuel , i also have throttle bodies off an gsxr 1000 that i wanted to use

What base engine are hou running?. That will determine alot. For fuel to be commanded at the leess than technical level, the ecu requires the inputs of the crank pickup, the cam sensor, map and baro sensors and iat sensor. With all those inputs you should get fuel commanded, however tuning would be another monster. Hope im understanding your question right

Ahh oil cooled engine. That long story short, that would require a lot if even possible. You really might opt for a stand alone fuel injection/controller unit. The camshafts on that engine were not manufactured with provisions to be able to read a cam position sensor which was later put into the Valve cover.

Sorry on the drop, had a bike burn down to the main frame and didnt get to work on this project. I read some where that the valve cover could be tapped for cam sensor and a crank wheel could be made. So what ecu has the most programmability to run fuel
