Anyone Flash a 2013 Busa yet?

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to to help my buddy flash his 2013, but his harness is different than my B-King and K8.  Does anyone know if the K13 no longer has the Yosh Plug or did they relocate it?  Is there a different flashing harness that's needed?  Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks All,

--Rich

Most of the 2013 Suzuki's are using a 2 pin plug instead of the yosh box plug, we have a Suzuki Harness Type 6 available which will work if this is the case.

Hi,

I bought a 2013 and still have my old 2009 with rewired yosh-plug. Found out that the 2013 dosnīt have it anymore. In the future Iīm going to install a yosh plug again.

What I did so far is taking the 2013 ECU out and pluged it into my 2009 bike. Immobilizer doesnīt talk to that ECU, but that doesnīt matter. Flashed the 2013 ECU through the 2009 harnes and it worked.

Still looking for a 2013 wiring diagram. Many colours of wires have changed....

                Regards, Torsten.

Am sure wiring has been changed due to addition of ABS on the 2013 models.

The harness has changed on the 2013 Hayabusa, they have a small 2 pin plug on the harness instead of the Yosh Plug, we have a Suzuki Type 6 Extension Harness available that extends the harness and provides the Yosh plug allowing you to wrie in the 2 wire harness exactly the same as you would on a 2008-2012 Hayabusa.

No, not really (thank god). Only colors has changed, one wire added for communication of SDS/ABS-controller. The ABS conroller is a separate unit that sits on the hydraulik unit. Pins for flashing are empty in the original ECU-plug-housing. But You can add the needed sockets. I bought them from Digi-Key (part-no. 670-1682-1-ND, http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?x=0&y=0&lang=en&site=us&KeyWords=670-1682-1-ND).
                                       Kind regards, Torsten.
