unifying fuel maps

i'm trying to figure out why when I unify my fuel maps it is still different a/f between 2nd and 3rd gear. 1-2 is the same, and 3-6 are the same, but both groups are different. it is leaner in 1-2 than in 3-6. Maybe my unifying didn't take affect for some reason?

also, how can i retrieve the current flash from the bike so I can change it. I can't seem to figure that one out.

thanx, rat

Which bin file are you working with? Not all ECU's can be read, if it is a model which can be read you will see the "Read ECU" menu item enabled under the "Tools" menu in Woolich Racing Tuned.

Do you have any other settings in the bin file which may affect the fueling in the lower gears e.g. STP differences between gears?

my bike is 2001 with 2006 32 bit ecu. so I choose the k2-k7 file. It is a turbo bike. I'm wondering if setting to TRE option will run all the fuel maps the same. Right now i'm using the turbo option. sorry for not responding sooner, I thought i would be notified via my email of new messages so I didn't look for a response. thanx for the info. I'm using ecu editor V2.5 and don't know if it is the same software as woolrich racing.

unification of maps is only for Ignition Maps in ecueditor? Woolich Racing Tuned WRT is not the same as ecueditor. could be worth taking at WRT as this does offer more extensive fuel map unification settings, you will find this under "File"=>"Bin File Configuration"

You can not read the Gen 1 busa bin file via the main ECU plugs, you can only write to the ECU.

Agreed with justin. Unification of the fuel maps is not a good idea.

I have seen quite some difference if AFR between cylinders , hence the reasons it uses different fuel maps per cylinder. Many tununers apply cylinder 1 to all 4 and its not good. Of course they cannot see the damage because they are collecting an average gas reading at the tail pipe and not at each individual header.
