Is my ECU jacked? Clutch signal wire ground coming out of ecu.

I have a car install with modded harness.  The clutch wire is a 3 inch tail coming out of the ecu connector - there is nothing connected to it.  The black/yellow clutch input is at ground potential and I have "Clutch ON" indicated in ecuEditor while monitoring engine data - with the 3 inch tail of the wire standing in free air.  I figure this will make the engine run neutral maps.  Is my ecu jacked?

What do you mean jacked? You must have the yellow grounded only to get the engine running after you must cut the ground. Put a switch there or the ecu will think that you are always with the clutch engaged and run neutral fueling ignition limiters and stp maps.
