Setting MCU in bootmode? I am working on a similar ECU, so we can probably solve it by comparing notes.
Mine is opened on the bottom for the TPīs so far. Would say i am almost sure by some measuring that i have successfully set it in bootmode.
FP, MOD0, and Reset i would say are verified so far on the Test Pads. Have a pretty good idea about rx/tx too. But have not cut to MCU yet.
See picture, a bit easier to solder TPīs. And much less risc of shorting between small MCU pins when soldering.

Send me and e-mail, itīs on my profile. So we can do some quick comparing and testing.

Amissy l see in racing ECU CBR which is the pinout ... but unfortunately I can look at this bike is 1000 and not a 600.

you can try with the original cable from the ECU racing. Is ready to sell

I have worked with FI Setting Tool for Honda HRC CRF250/450 OEM Keihin ECU and ECU HRC Racing CBR1000 (Keihin also) and software HRC Data Setting Tool.
Connecting the cable diagnosis with 4 wires (12V - Ground - K-Line and L-Line). Read and Write and Boot need by emergency button ignition power cuts - OFF at the beginning of connection, and on.
The USB interface chip is Silicon Lab - CP210xVCP driver.

Kit HRC has harness racing too, but I think it is only by adaptations of a street bike to race. I do not think miss any wire communication.
I will try to connect to interface with the ECU street and see if it works.
