2006 GSX-R750 Quick Shifter

Hey guys.  I've dug pretty deep searching for information on ECU-based quick shifters for 2006 GSX-Rs.  However, I've come up empty handed.

I have a Flash-Tune ECU and am looking to install a quick shifter.  However, I don't know what wires or pins I need to connect the quick shifter switch to.  Flash-Tune wouldn't or couldn't tell me, I probed on the phone for a while but they just wanted to sell me a harness (which they can't ship out until Monday, and I want to finish this today).

So, is anyone able to tell me?  I'm about to go start searching for empty pins and doing trial and error.  disbelief

I'd really appreciate any assistance!

Okay, did some further investigating. Here's what I found by testing the connectors.

I'm not quite sure what to make of it yet, but I did some thinking back to my digital logic classes. If I remember correctly, 5V is about right in the middle of what a computer would see as "on" (1) or "off" (0). So, it's possible that pin 1 on the white connector could feed a signal to pins 2-4 to activate the quick shift subroutine.

The black connector, however, is more interesting. It consists of 3 and 5 volt readings. I'm not sure what to make of this, but it's possible that any of the 5V pins could feed a signal to the 3V pins and the ECU would pick up the voltage change and execute the subroutine.

At this point, I think it's too risky to do any trial and error experimentation with these findings. But, it's an interesting start.

I was able to figure it out.  For future reference, if anyone finds themselves in my shoes, here's how it goes.

You connect your QS switch leads to the leftmost pins on the rectangular black connector under your seat.  This connector will have a black hard plastic cap on it.  The leftmost pins being when the clip is facing up.

The wire colors are Black w/ Brown Stripe and Blue w/ Red Stripe.

I hope this helps someone in the future!
