GSXR 600 K6 project for tuning and learning purposes

Hi all,

As I am new to the forum I still have a lot of questions about the whole ECU hacking proces and diversity in tools that are used. I'm so busy reading "all" the posts to soak up as much knowledge as possible so I can hopefully avoid most of the noob questions smile.

I am trying to tune my trackbike so I can use different maps for dry and rain situations, and to maximize the horsepower without a powercommander. Currently I'm in the proces of building the interface cable and my FTDI usb-ttl converter is on it's way.

I've noticed that there are a lot of people on the forum that have some experience in tinkering with the ECU's and bin files. There doesn't seem to be a great deal of sharing though, as I was kind of hoping. In the past I've made a megasquirt and was active on those forums. There was a lot of sharing going on and the development went very quick with it.

I would like to contribute to this forum in the same way but I would need some kind of a base to start from. So far I've downloaded a couple of programs to get familiar with and am building the interface.

The ECU of my bike is a US model 01H10 and I would rather not risk opening it because I cannot get another one here in the Netherlands. Is there someone whoe has the BIN file of that particular ECU for me? (perhaps a def file as well to get me started).

Kind regards,
