this Gsxr 750 with 13,000 miles. I'm a car mechanic with little bike knowledge. Right away I noticed that this bike has low pickup compared to my friends 600s and 750s. Unlike other 750s this bike is NOT torquey whatsoever. (Yes I have checked the brakes and they are good). At all speeds there is low pick up. It will gain speed but takes forever to get there. The RPMs go up and it idles and starts fine. The shifting seems normal. I took the stock pipe off and it gained some power but still slow relative to the other mid sized bikes. Everything on the bike is stock. Here is what I HAVE DONE no avail: - New NGK plugs - cleaned out the fuel pump strainer and tank - removed the exhaust and straight piped it (some power added but nowhere close to a normal 750) - new air cleaner - adjusted the clutch (haven't taken the clutch apart to see wear) The only thing left is throttle body synch but from what I read it may it may not fix this. So the only things I HAVE NOT done yet are: 1. ECU flash or power commander? 2. New clutch? 3. Throttle body synchronizing?
