Air shifter not working with ecueditor

Hi all

I've recently gotten into drag racing and got myself an early 1999 gen 1 hayabusa.

I've done my research and converted it to a later 32bit ecu and built myself a flash interface

I can connect and flash the ecu without any problems

So over the winter I've gathered the parts and built an air shifter and fitted it to the bike

I have patched into the horn using a small toggle switch and used a 220ohm resistor across

the horn button earth to the pink gps wire but it doesn't work

Any ideas if its my early 1999 wiring loom or gps sensor creating a problem?

Or are my resistors not giving the correct values?

Am i doing something wrong?

Any help or ideas of things to try would be appreciated

Kev

Well i wouldn't of believed what was causing it!!!!!

Putting a meter from the ecu pin to the plug under the tank and nothing. Totally dead
One of the previous owners in all their wisdom had cut the pink wire and soldered the black wire to the pink
I'm guessing this was to keep the ecu thinking it was in a particular gear
Oh well
Problem all sorted
Bike shifting on paddock stand ok
So time to bolt it all back together and get it mot'd for a proper test
