immobilizer Yamaha MT01

Hallo, I have read the whole forum, but i didn,t found a solution for my problem.
I have a MT01, that has a oem immobilizer, 2 black keys and 1 red key.The ecu, key and key-reader are coded.
I have bought a used stage2 ecu. I knew that it wouldn,t run, but i thought that there should be a possibillity to change the chip in the ecu2 on which the code is located,  with the one in the ecu1. How can i find the location from the code? Or is there i possibillity to reset the code, so that i can re-code it with the red key.
some pics from the ecu, eprom

The bike is indeed from 2005.
The 2, 8 pin chips are located on the top, not the bottom. You can see it on the first pic, just right from the MCU.

Hallo, it took a while, but last week i have transported the chip from the oem ecu to the stage 2 ecu, Now it runs. I have not read the chip, because i have not the knowledge to do that, but would like to learn it. Maybe someone can teach me something.
Thanks.

I'm happy to hear that work.

here you can see a little movie we done to teach read out the serial eeprom, that content the Immo data.

I would like to know if maybe you can donate/sell the OEM ecu you have, and in any case if you need it back i can even sent it back later as you requet.

here the link of the movie :

Hi There,
I'm exactly in the same situation.
Could you give more details on how to proceed with this chip swap ??

Many thanks,

Dear XRR,

I can for sure help you out on this issue.
tell me exactly what you need to do.
swap one other ecu into you bike ? or what else?
we have the knowlage to read-write your ecu, or revirgin it the same for recode it, or remove the Immo function.

Best regards

Hi,

Sorry to dig up an old post but I am wondering what was used to read the communication between the antenna and the ECU?

Thanks.
