I'm aware that this has been here without comment for 6 1/2 years. But, with apologies, I have a question. The K7/K8 uses a Hall effect sensor for the camshaft sensor and consequently only has a single signal lead. This contrasts with the crankshaft sensor that has a + and - lead. Yet the above pinout shows pin 8 as CMPS+ and pin 30 as CMPS-. Do you know where CMPS- came from, i.e. was the board so marked? K5/K6 used an inductive camshaft sensor and there are CMP+ and CMP- leads. But not on K7/K8. Alternately, might the K7/K8 ECM support an inductive/two lead sensor? The K7/K8 ECM terminal diagram in the service manual lists pin 8 as CMPS+ but I've always considered the + to be an error, probably a carryover from the K5/K6 diagram that was missed.
