flashing harness is the same as for 1000 K5/K6 I already flashed few 600 K6/K7 and the bin files are almost the same, i hope of using 600's def file for it:)
Does ecu editor interface only works with Ecu Editor? Or FTD olso? Does the FTD interface also work in Ecu Editor? (i know our files dont, yet.) :) Anf if so, whats the difference?
I have to compare schematics and see what does what. So i will order parts this week and hope i got em before the weekend.
Tried to gnereate an .xml from the .bin i pulled. If i got this right, starting address for lookup table is address 40000 (262144). Looks right and looked up the start address as you described in other thread Ridge. The .xml uotputs data and fills all adresses.
But the generator did not find more than 180 maps total, 89-2D and 31-3D. Is that right? Or does the bin2xml stop before the end of the code in 7054 becouse of bigger memory? BIN2XML maybe ends reading before the file is done? Since alla other addresses i have seens has been 28000-2C000 instead of 4000.
the xml converter is not very "intelligent". The maps need to be sequentially listed or it stops. Sometimes you have to run it as two batches and paste them together. 31-3D definitely sounds on the short side.
Ridge, your program seem to be more than intelligent enough. I think i ****ed up again. After two days of barbeque and beer and now hangover i tried again, i think something got wrong when transfering files to and from an XP 32-bit laptop to run the BIN2XML and then copy back to mine.
Now your very nice program generates 180 maps still, but 89 2D maps & 91 3D maps. And now the readings go all the way down to the adress where the last filler starts, address 5D2C0 (381632). So now it looks like the reading go through all the code for the maps? Can about 180 total maps be right still?
Carry, how does the map count for the 600 def file you got looks like? And are start and end addresses similar?
Well to be honest i cant remembar;) But def file is quite ready, we used 600 defs for that with changed starting adress. Bin files of 750 and 600 are almost the same and 600 defs worked with my bike well so far:)
I am not sure if you are aware but the Woolich Racing Tuned software has the ability to flash the 2006/2007 GSX-R 750 32920-02H00 and 32920-02H10, you can download the software from the following link, there is a very modest fee for the bin file of US$100 and all funds are reinvested in purchasing more ecu's to expand the model range of the software.
