Help before I shoot my bike Please

I am fighting a cold start issue 2002 busa ecu hack 1397 12.5:1 compression. Morning  temps 47-49 degrees. Engine just cranks, Crack the the throttle may backfire out the exhaust, Hook a booster to the battery it fires.. Changed plugs, battery and coolant temp sensor.  Any thoughts? FYI I have been fighting this issue for about 3 years.

I have a new Lio battery on the way.. only does it when the temp drops.   I want to shoot this thing.
Please help.

Because the symptom is happening during cold temps my guess would be that you need a richer mixer for starting.

If you used RomRaider, I think there was an area for tuning related to temperature compensation.

Using EcuEditor you can put a bigger number "richer" in the IAP map in the low rpm areas. I would start by bumping it up by 10% from left to right for the first 2 or 3 rpm levels.

If that doesn't work you can always change it back.

Do you have a external pressure regulator? If so, you can bump up the pressure to get more fuel but, it will affect all of the fuel maps.

I used the ecu editor and left the iap map alone in the lower areas. I have just added a PCV on top of the hack with autotune.

Just as a note: If the battery voltage goes "low" the first thing to quit is the spark. The engine will turn over and maybe you will get fuel but, the spark will not occur.

Opening the throttle made the engine turn more easily and the battery voltage would come up allowing the spark to occur at least a little.

You can check your battery voltage while cranking the engine to see if that is the problem.

Also I would recommend checking your ground connection for corrosion. Take it loose and be sure it is clean.

Thank you. battery voltage is iffy drops to 10.3 as low as 9.6 very quickly. I have checked all the grounds. I personally think it is a voltage thing.
Wanted some other opinions. strange thing once it does fire after putting the jumper it is good to go unless she sits all night and back to square 1

Batteries work better when warm but, not hot. So when you do get the bike to start once you have warmed the battery up and you have put a little bit of charge into it. It takes a battery a while to settle back to a "natural" state. Your battery does sound boarder line bad.

Put the new Antigravity battery in and it fired right up spun over like never before. Sat overnight and started right up this morning. I hope that is all it was.
