ecueditor.com v3.0 - Fuel Maps for Gen 1

Hi as some of you would know i am working on the next version of ecueditor.com v3.0

i am working on enabled the gen 1 maps at the moment and i am just trying to work out what the different groups of fuel maps do?

e.g.

00028304 IAP_RPM_MSoff_MAPC1

000283A4 IAP_RPM_MSoff_MAPJ1

these are obviously groups of IAP maps, what is the difference between MAPC1 and MAPJ1? i think the 1 is Cylinder 1 so what i am really wanting to know is what is C and J for? These are defined this way in the .xml def files as well.

Cheers

-Justin.

I think i may have answered my own question, there appears to be a low load map in the Gen 1 that corresponds to each full load map... hmm now how to display this to enabled full editing...

Is it the idle map?

yeah one is a full map and the other is like a low load map, interesting stuff, i have worked out an easy way to expose these maps for editing, i have made a "High" and "Low" mode for them works well ;)

It should be identified already in EE2. In a GEN1

15 column X 8 row map
IAP and RPM headings.

In EE2, open a fuel map and press "3"

ok cool ;) bit of a learning curve for me as i have not looked at the Gen 1 stuff much before, there are a surprising amount of similarities though which is cool.

This is a bit off topic, but initial improvements in the GEN1 code that I get asked about all of the time would be as follows;

Rev Limit higher than 11650 (I have gone to 13k successfully through manual editing on GEN1, I can get all of the addresses that I change to go higher than 11650)
Neutral limit adjustable for 2 step limiter (again, I can get the addresses)

Shift kill that kills fuel and ignition correctly (currently the ignition kill is "weak" this has issues with turbo bikes with secondaries as some are triggered by tach signals as the fuel keeps spraying and the ignition doesn't kill adequately)
A big one would be boost compensated fueling.

Ok thanks John, we should start recording this stuff so it does not get forgotten, i am concentrating on the basics at this stage but i absolutely want to capture this stuff so we can make this as good as possible for all users ;)

Bump......

I would personally love to see individual gear ignition maps integrated into EE V3 like how the woolich racing maps can do it.

I have a 1441 busa with nitrous and were using a relay to trigger ms0 and ms1 as well as wiring in a quick shifter.

I find the Ecu Editor software to be better than woolich racings and I'd love to see ECU Editor Version 3.0 Out!!!!

Who do I make donations to get this rolling???

As I understand it, EE V3 is WRT or the other way around. :)

Yes thats correct, there will not be an EE3... Its way too hard to work with the EE code base for adding models and features. Woolich Racing Tuned is the way forward, no further work will be done on EE. What do you like about EE over WRT, the user interface is fairly similar?

Yes, I came to the same conclusion myself after working a very short while to add support for B-King 106HP bin (easy).
A short while I had an ambition to rewrite/port it to C#/"object model", but then a young wizard from "Aus" did it for me.

:)

PS.
Besides..
The real hard stuff have been done by the Gurus on this forum.
Hacking the ECU's/disassembling/"raw metal programming" (curciut boards.. tracing pin-to-sensors-devices)
