Restrictor on a gsxr600


Front, right under the tank cover inserted, the control unit.
Then there is a number with 32 920 - begins.on the Cover of the ECU.

Hi all I have a 2012 gsxr600 and have a suzuki restrictor on it the paperwork says it's a 25kw I can't find where on the bike it is because I want to take it out, any ideas?

They have called it an ECM so I'm guessing it's the same as ecu?

It is likely the programming in the ecu. If it has secondary throttle plates, they are likely teh method of restriction.

Thanks, the one they gave me to restore the bike looks like it has two ports to plug into but I don't know where the one is already on the bike

You are correct though it is computer controlled in the ecu just need to find it on the bike

Also don't know if this helps, as you can see I know nothing about ecu's, on the paperwork is says it's a power igniter

please send the ECU Number  32920-?????

when a 25kw ecu-pinout pin 66 then open.

Oh brilliant I'll have a look tomorrow for it, do you just swap them over or do I need to cut a wire? I'll send the number tomorrow

If there is a 25kw ECU you need only disconnect the cable.
