How's it go'n ZX12R family? Question: What is the function of the #11, Wire - "Fuel Reserve Switch" coming off the back of the Gauge Meter Conection?
I'm installing a new (KOSO X2) Digital Gauge Meter and it does not have conection wire for this stock #11 Wire. It only has ONE fuel connect wire for the stock #2, Wire - "Fuel Level Sensor".
So what does this #11 Wire do when plugged into the o.e.m. gauge meter; does it trun on reserve fuel when the level is low, and if so.. can I simply connect it to a seperate swith and trun it on manualy when the new gauge meter says that "Fuel is Low", or is it just a another +volt signal wire, to let you know that reserve fuel is now on (I'm thinking the digital small blk fuel bar display will "flash" when this happens) which means it could be cut and it wouldn't hurt anything??
