Hi,this is jhonnybusa from UK,i need to enable a quickshifter on gsxr 1000 k8 ecu,can you send to be a mail with a base map,i will use the ECUEDITOR and also woolich software.

Angle of what? Secondary throttle valves? maybe it is better for you to open a new topic

Hello guys.
I'm really impressed from all of this what you have done. That's amazing. One week ago I bought k8 1000 with dual yoshimura no catalyst and k&n air filter. I don't have idea if the bike is mapped. I like to put a quick shifter (I have a dynojet sensor), but can I use it and where should I connect it? Also if it is possible to turn off deceleration cut off fuel. Can someone help me with bin file(onyx_81@abv.bg for 21H50)?
What do you think about woolich Racing tool log box? Is it possible to use it and connect my quick shift sensors or it will work only with sensors from wrt?
Is there any other option to log afr?
Thank you guys. You are helping to a lot of people to learn something new and interesting.
- Yes you can use the sensor with a extra resistor between 2 wires in your loom. Than you will need to take a busa bin. and copy all the values of the GSXR to it in ECueditor - Fuelcut i don't know, why do you want this? As doing the pair mod (this is mandatory for AFR logging) will solve pops and bangs - Woolich log is good as you don't need to have a laptop as with ECUeditor to log. You also need a wideband AFR sensor. - Log box doesn't work with ecueditor - With woolich you will need an extra racing pack to have the options of quickshift.
I don't know your level of knowledge but it's not that direct plug and play what you are asking. I see no problems but this is not something done in a few minutes/hours.

Thank you for the fast reply Wiebren.
If I understand correct I should connect the quick shift sensor to the GPS in series with resistor. But do I need normally open or normally close sensor? And there is something with the red wire that i misunderstand.Does the gear indicator on the dash board still work or it will not work after installing quick shifter?
I'm not sure if I understand correct what pair mod does.I should check more about it. Deceleration cut off fuel I like it because of smoot on/off/on throttle.
Level of knowledge about programing close to 0 but the rest not that bad.I like to make a lot of things myself(of course sometimes goes wrong before i find the correct way but....)Definitely I couldn't remap the bike just with my own knowledge, that's why I'm asking for help.
I can't find the schematic for interface. The one I found (but I'm not sure if it will work with ecueditor ) is with usb/ttl cable connected direct to reset/rxd/txd/fwe to the ecu 17/16/15/29.
You don't need programming skills but some tech knowledge is preferred :)
The pair valve is a valve which lets air in the exhaust, causing the catalysator to burn hotter. But when you delete the cat, this additional air causes the pops and bangs on deceleration.
You can find a lot of information regarding the QS on this forum.
But for the flashing interface please have a look in the following topic. If you only want to delete all restrictions, add 2 step and quickshifter, a simple interface is sufficient. If you want autotuning you need the high speed logging thus the advanced board;
I really appreciate your help to showing me the right way. Now is already winter season here in Norway and I'll have couple of months to read, aducate, search, build and test before the spring come.
I'm not sure why I couldn't see almost nothing of the attached pictures or websites/links under the posts? Is this because I'm a new member or because more of the discussion are almost 10 years old or could be other reason? Does anyone else have that problem as well?
