Been having some wierd issues here lately, anyone else??????

I have been fighting with a bike on the dyno over the last week or so thinking it had a electrical issue but I think I have narrowed it down to the ECU editor not positive but sure seems like it.

If I flash a stock bin file in the bike runs fine, pretty rich being it has S2000 injectors but sounds good. once I go in and lean out the MS TPS map (being that is the map the bike runs on and uses the TPS map for the nitrous) it seems once I flash this map in the bike it sounds like at part throttle it drops a cylinder?? sounds good at idle and full throttle.

At first it seemed like it only started after I opened the timing table, so I opened a new map, flashed it sounded great, so I copied my all fuel tables from the old map then reflashed. Bike sounded like it dropped a cylinder again. Flashed stock map back in sounds good, so then I just leaned out the MS TPS map and flashed it, bike sounds like it dropped a cylinder again, flash stock map sounds great. Now this have been an on going thing over the last 2 weeks probably and this is the short version so there is a lot of things that have been tried that I have left out but looking to see if anyone is having similar problems? I have tuned a gang load of bikes with these injectors and never a problem until now.

Any reason the bike would do this being I am using the MS/TPS map instead of the regular TPS map? I usually use the MS for nitrous but since the controller has a ground output I figured I would reverse it so in case I change the start RPM the ECU will wait to switch maps.

Any help or insight is greatly appreciated.

Justin

Also forgot to mention that I had this bike already mapped and running great with these injectors and nitrous set up using the ECU editor but switched to 62lb injectors and part way through tuning is when this issue started and along the way I swapped back to the S2000 injectors and ever since just trying to pin point the problem.

Also noticed what ever is causing the problems seems to make the IAP map go way lean, as long as the bike is in idle map or tps map it runs fine.

Justin I am starting with a stock K2-K7 24FKO. I will email the bin files that I have modified and having problems with.

If you are in the threshold point of the throttle opening were you go from IAP map to TPS map, the engine can run strangle if the cells have great difference.

To make an example, you could be a bit lean on the edge of your IAP map and a bit rich going to your TPS map...if the ECU bounces back and forth between the two maps your engine will change attitude accordingly.
