Tuned bin database?

Hey guys. Wondering if anyone would be interested in starting a page with a list of tuned map bin's.

I do a lot of bike tuning and have been doing some direct ecu flashing. I sure wouldnt mind sharing some of my maps and results on this site since everyone on here seems to be super helpful.

Anyways I can host files on of my own websites or if we could make a page of maps I think it would be helpful to give people base maps of bikes with pipes or mods done to them.

Any takers?

Sounds like a good idea, are not much new happening.
Probably stock needed too, most will probably want to double check the tuned files to see what is done before WOT.
And maybe only use some maps for corresponding hardware etc. Little like Trionic Tuning forums maybe.

Maybe a good way to get more people looking at definitions and maybe make more progress on that also.
Since everyone started hiding their work not much new development in the forum...

Just some thoughts.... What do others think?

Yeah I was thinking it would be nice if we could get a few bins together at least for base maps at least.

If we could get it together it would be cool if we get make, model, year, exhaust, air filter, engine mods, fuel, altitude, and final air fuel.

I have sites I could host any bins on as well if needed.

Only reason why I was thinking of doing this would be just to get at least fuel and timing baselines for future tuners.

A REAL Tuner doesnt need a "Baseline".
If you need to look at a premade map to see how it is changed,
then in my opinion, you should not tinker with a Bin cause there are
HIGH chances you are going to cause costly damages.

The "database" idea in nothing new here in Italy, it exist since
ages in the CAR market, and only thing you can find in it are crappy
attempts from wannabe-tuner-kids who download a file,
raise some random values and then charge his friends 100$$
to upload it in theyr cars and then have to change city when such cars starts to blow up ....

What i am trying to say, is that you will never persuade good tuners to share theyr
work, the only files you can put in a public database are **** tunes dangerous to use.

Sounds like an old school way of thinking to me....

If you dont need a basefile as you say, what the **** are you going to tune?
Write you own bin and flash and hope for the best? You will always need the stock file :)

So if someone made an E85 base and shared, you would not use it as a reference or base to get the bike to idle and run for fine tuning?
You mean you rather reinvent the wheel here? And there are many ways to do E85 adaptation. What says the idéa you come up with is best solution?
There will always be someone smarter everywhere, why not use their help if they are willing?

Like injectors, cams, different turbos, fuel pressures, fuels, quickshifters, traction etc. Maybe not always full bins but like a "map-pack".

To the REAL tuners, anyone that has completely disassembled ANY bin and can say for 100% what EVERY map does and how/what it relates to?

Read a couple of times people say that speed calculation had nothing to do with ecu.
But hey, how did Brix find it in the .bin? Were all "Real Tuners" wrong at first? Scary... :)

+1 what Twice said.

I think it would just be nice to have some basemaps to work with like he said if you were working with E85 or special fuels maybe?

Pbviously there are a ton of different set up's but I've seen more than a few times map requests for say 1441 busa maps with no luck. I am a tuner and I know that some hold their maps super secret but we live in the age of the internet and stuff floats around so why not be helpful to others?
