Hayabusa Engine in Car - Wiring Question

I have a Hayabusa Engine mid-mounted in my car. I am in the process of doing some re-wiring and wanted to make sure I understand the issue regarding the clutch swith properly. As I understand it, if the original bike clutch switch is removed then idealy I should have a momentary switch to operate when starting the engine to select the neutral map.

I could do without a momentary switch but that may cause more difficuly in starting. Also, without a switch I would have to cut the yellow/black wire at the starter solenoid and ground it to bypass the starting in gear lockout.

When the engine is started with the clutch switch removed, which map does the ecu use?

Thanks for any help.

Hi. It┤s only important that the ecu get no clutch-on signal when gear is in. The clutch signal switch to other maps for fuel, ignition, stp and other limiters. You canápull out the pin from the ecu-plug andáwiring the start-relais over start-switch directly to ground without clutch-switch if you need no clutch-in limiter.
