Minimal Equipment

I am toying with the idea of Running fuel injection on one of my off road vehicles (car engine) and would want to use the injection system off a Haybusa. this is just initial stage of inquiry.

I would choose the generation one as I dont need high horspower only waterproof electrics and the ability to run smooth at all angles.

I would use a BUSA system as it is a large bike and can be re-mapped substantially.

What is the minimum amount of equipment necessary to run a Hayabusa Engine.

Do I need the Speedometer, The Rev counter - are these necessary for the ECU to run?

How much of the Pipework is necessary.

Obviously I will need many sensors from the bike I will check the harness details but would like someone elses opinion on this..

Gen 1? Don't bother. Gen II is possible but still a lot of work to adapt to a car engine. There are easier ways to achieve what you want. BTW, you won't need speedo or rev counter for the ECU to function.

Something wonderful is going to happen...
