Which should I go with gen1 or gen2

I'm going to purchase a Hayabusa engine for project.  I will be running a turbo looking to be the 500 to 600 horsepower range.  I was originally planning on going with a standalone system but after reviewing this forum it looks like the flashing a stock ECU is just like having a standalone .  I do realize that if go with a gen2 I will have to change  the valves but I will also  benefit from having eight injectors.  So I guess it just gets back to which ecu would be better for turbocharging.

Thanks for your help.

The GEN2 is currently much better suited for turbocharging. That said, it is not the same as a standalone.

Which engine doesn't really matter too much, I have a GEN2 ecu on my GEN1 engine with 4 ID1000 injectors and no secondaries. Not necessarily trouble free, but has most of the bugs worked out now.
