IAPS and its relation to idle?!!

hello world;

before I have an issue with the flashing my ecu (Ecu editor Vs Woolich) and the problem was wired to me; I really become confuse about how hayabusa ecu is thinking.

my earlier issue was engine run with c42 error and its idle problem.

So I started few steps;

1) Mechanic says the ics is faulty; I replace from another bike. but the same.

2) diagnostic per manual steps says the faulty ecm !! replace the ECM from another bike was the same.

3) I remove all my harness and recheck but nothing is there a short circuit.

But ; when I install the harness By luck I forget to fit the IAPS to vacuum hoses !!

Then I started the engine and found its running good and smooth. I give it a acceleration and it return to idle!!

then I found the IAPS unplug; when I plug back it start to losing idle and giving C42?!

please note that I have a after market fuel regulator installed and sharing the same vacuum hose using T connector (throttle body hose)

these light gray hoses (pic from google)>>>

my earlier topic click here

any thing wrong, any idea or explanation ?! is the IAPS important for not? what is its rule?

Check your clutch switch and flash a new bin file don't remove the vacumm hose from the sensor it is essential for part throttle and idle fueling.

Is the sensor working correctly? might be worth running through the tests from the service manual.
