Want to disconnect the speedsensor because cuted off the sprocket-cover for a faster sprocked-change. Anyone knows how to disable the FI-lamp for the missing sensor-signal. As I´m right the ecu needs the speedsensorsignal only for steering-damper and selftest.
Hi, how do you do? I'm having a problem with a GSXR 1000 K8 engine installed on a race car, regarding the speed sensor. I had to remove it since the car has a rear diff with direct coupling on the engine output shaft. How can I bypass this sensor without flashing the ECU? I'm having a FI light all the time and the engine is low on power. Best Regards, Andre
Hi. There is some time over and now it is possible to deactivate the FI-lamp for speedsensor by flashing the ECU. If you want to know the turnaround way from send me an email to auer.robert(at)aon.at . I can also deactivate by flashing and i think that is the cleaner way.
