Hi, I want to make a quick shifter using arduino mosfet and load cell.
My idea is to using a load cell as interrupt to arduino witch force the pickup coils to the ground. It will shut down the bike for X(millis), just the time for jump the new gear.
I have a gsxr k6/7 and I want to know (if anyone know it) if ecu read the cut off like a defect on pickup coils.
I read from the office manual that if the primary injector don t run for 4 time continuos the ecu return error and go to safe mode but don t read anythink for the igniction coil.
Most QS are interrupting the ignition coils and not the ECU CKP sensor. I don't know if it is an good idea to cut off the brain function of the ECU by cutting down the CKP Sensor signal, the ECU doesn't know the RPM and the position of the crank. This influences the injection moment of the fuel and many more. I don't know what the ECU will do if you cut off the CKP. But find below all the possible errors from the ECU for DTC. No direct error codes for cutting down the CKP while running. Keep us informed with this project please
DTC C24 (P0351), C25 (P0352), C26 (P0353) or C27 (P0354): Ignition System Malfunction Is caused by interrupting the ignition coils more than 8 times continues.
CKP signal is produced but fuel injector signal is interrupted by 4 times or more continuity. Injector circuit open or short. Injector malfunction. ECM malfunction.
DTC C12 (P0335): CKP Sensor Circuit Malfunction The signal does not reach ECM for 3 sec. or more, after receiving the starter signal.
