my stv's are completely removed for drag racing purposes. if anyone is still working on these files it would be greatly appreciated to not only be able to adjust the stva but disable for people like me who have removed it.
or is there something I can input adjustment wise to make the fi light go away???
No the development is minimal, Patrick & Ridgeracer were good developers but on the low radar for years. While a major part of the developments of this forum were from J.Woolich, he started his own business from it; Woolich racing.
What I can recommend for you is to cut the axle of the actuator and let the sensor sit on the throttle bodies connected.
i have already recieved the email with the change from Rendeto i appreciate it! could yall explain how you can go about this edit in rom raider? im always soaking up all the knowledge i can if you dont mind sharing
You can compare the received file with the original. With this you can see what part of the code is responsible for the STVA. Because the code is not human readable you only see the location changed. Like all the other functions of the ECU a value / code is placed on a specific location. Due to the large amount of not readable data, finding the locations for all functions is what takes a lot of time. So what you need in Romraider to tune files is A) the ecu code B) the code definition with all the locations. With romraider you can set a certain formulas to get the non readable to display as an human readable and so you can tune/set values. But for the most ECU's a couple of smart guys have done all the work for you.
