Thanks for sharing your know-how via this platform! I'm very new to the whole world of ECU flashing and wanted to try it by myself on the ECU of my GSX-R 750 K6 EU model. What I did until now is to order some components to build the harness bench to connect my ECU via USB-C without the bike itself because I want to use an external 12v 1.5a power supply. So far, so good. By the way, the USB cable is the "Adafruit Accessories FTDI Serial TTL-232 USB Type C Cable - 5V Power / 3.3V Logic" from Mouser.
It is a little bit unclear for me what the next steps are after building the harness bench. I know it is a little bit tricky to flash the ECU in general because of the CPU, and I know I have to use the map of a GSX-R 1000 K5/K6.
And now my questions are:
Which software should or can I use for that? ECUeditor doesn't work, right?
Where can I get the maps? As far as I know, I have to use the map of the GSX-R 1000 K5/K6 containing the basic settings of the GSX-R 750 K6 EU map, right?
How would the whole process look like? Is it like working with the Power-Commander-Software?
I assume it would be something like that:
Connecting the ECU with PC via USB-C
Turning on the power supply to get the ECU working
Running ECU flashing software
Loading map of the GSX-R 1000 K5/K6 EU model
Making some changes like disabling pair valve, immobilizer, O2 sensor, etc.
Saving and "uploading" of the modified map to the ECU
Really, is it easy like that?
Thanks and best, Chris

Thanks for your reply and really good to know. But now I'm confused. Is it still possible to disable the immobilizer, pair valve, O2 sensor, and exhaust servo motor? And beyond this, is it possible to adjust the activation temperature of the fan cooler?
Does anyone have an idea where I can get those files? Regardless if from dealer or in an unofficial way?
